The Best Pizza In Catania

This pizza is to die for, deliciously thin and crisp with wonderful variety of topping to choose from, it’s made in front of you by this dude:

Well your wrong!
It’s 5€ for a large.
2,50€ for a ‘mini’ which is the perfect size for one.

Yes, thats right, an amazing meal for 2,50€!!

If you are in Catania I won’t forgive you for not trying this place! It’s a tiny little kitchen essentially, with a couple of chairs and a table just off the main road Via Etnea.

You can have a nice reasonably priced glass of wine while choosing and watching your pizza being made. The pistachio pizza really is something else!

They also make giant focaccia sandwiches which is what I plan to try next time I go after seeing them while waiting for our pizza.

And they go in the oven too, mmmm my mouth is watering just thinking about them!

Up until now, I have been a firm believer in the more toppings on a pizza the better. Well, I have been proven wrong! Its all about the combination of the freshest most delicious ingredients in the right proportions so it takes no longer than five minutes to cook at about 270 degrees celsius so the base is crispy.

The whole place smells of basil and tomatoes. Thank god I don’t live here I would become aranccino con pedi – an aranccini with feet haha.
